Next up, was another brand I came across in Ulta, Urban Decay’s Vice Lip Bond. I originally fell in love with urban decay for their eyeliners, and my first vice lip bond was Indie Sleaze for a Loki cosplay. After matte sticky lips, and get everywhere glosses, I was ready for a black lip able to hold up. Thankfully, it did!
So, does this thing hold up to being transfer proof and keeping a glossy shine? Actually yes! It keeps a shiny finish for at least the majority of wear form what I’ve seen, and unless you try to rub it off super harshly, it stands up to smudging
Now, I have the Queen Cosmetics gloss named Electric. I don’t usually use it on its own as it’s gorgeous but looks weird transferring due to its silvery color. What I’ve found though, is that it is an amazing gloss to tap into other lipsticks with your finger after they’ve dried. The vice lip bond is why I started trying this, as I loved the shine, and just wanted some shimmer.
One problem with this lipstick is that it dries tacky and stays tacky. Not to the point of matte lips where they stick like glue together, but without a gloss tapped into the lipstick, or another topper, it will feel dry.
This lipstick layers very well. Even after drying, it is able to be reapplied after a heavy meal, and feels smooth on the lips, and inside the mouth as it dries. It has of course, the dots of transfer, but never transfers a full lipstick mark without some serious rubbing effort first.
Thankfully, the vice lip bond is able to avoid most of the splitting issues I see with some lipsticks.

This stuff holds up well after a meal, other than the middle. Considering it layers well, it’s a tradeoff that’s worth it for me. This was after a nice burger and fries, so it held on for dear life.

Finish: Keeps a glossy finish for most wear. Fades to satin finish. After a 5 hour shift and PT where I did not reapply, my mom asked if I had reapplied my lipstick because it looked fresh.
Feeling: Feels glossy when first applied, and dries tacky. Stays tacky for remainder of wear without gloss patted in.
One Swipe: Sheer color. Needs two layers for full opacity
Layering: Layers same as first application. Bonds to itself well in my
Pros:
Easy application
Able to hold up with glitter patted in after drying
Actually, transfer-proof, at least 95%
Holds on pretty well after a tough meal
Layers very nicely
Does not split on smiles after a few hours or even 10 hours of wear.
Cons:
Can break down in the middle after oily foods
Dries to a tacky, slightly sticky finish
Has tiny transfer dots like all lipsticks
Overall a 9.6/10, a strong contender for the long lasting lippies.
